Yeah, I can't really disagree. A retired friend passed it to me in an email this morning and the message conveyed seemed timely and fitting here! But, I admit scratching my head a couple of times before posting but finally decided, "What the heck, it's nothing more than a beef tenderloin carefully shaped before being placed on the grill!" (At least it wasn't encircled by that hot, sinus clearing, green stuff that goes so well with raw fish! )

I am not going to sleep tonight.

As for the shark...

I think we all know that if home boy had been swallowed up right in front of all those tourists that the article would have read very differently. It would end the news coverage of the brain traumas in West Virginia and Israel, and it's all we'd hear for a week.

More power to the guy, that is pretty cool. The only problem is the next time he's sitting at the bar and tells some cute brunette about what he did, most likely anyone there will call BS.

What really drives me nuts is when stupid people do stupid things, and get burned. Then someone out there looks for someone to blame and new laws get legislated.

we also set fish traps. Drifting thru the islands, I'd go down and get a lobster or two, and hook a rope on the trap. Now you gotta realize that an old 21 year youngen ain't never seen anything that even remotely recozimbled a shark. And I still ain't sure. I knowed one thing tho, iffen anybody wanted the spineys and fish in that trap, they wasa gynna has to go gettem them own selves. That's went the clear water became stained and I went outta the divin business. wdbrand.
