Day three of the long party. Party is a good description of these guys, they liked to have fun and the last day was fun. We started off conventional fishing and got three before switching over to fly. Then we had a couple of shots on the fly, this is Chris long with his second sailfish on the fly, (first one was yesterday). Then at the end we had a flurry of action releasing several more on light spinning gear after they tried them on the fly first. I was really impressed with Greg and Joes spinning skills, they were 100% to my 25% on the shotgun rod. Not too shabby from a couple of Mass. guys. They also had fun with several nice Bonitoes on the spinning gear that we used to make belly strips for the teasers. At the end of the day I was bummed that they werent fishing a few more. Hope to see you guys again soon.

Hey Cap and Francisco,
wanted to drop a note and let you know how incredible of a time the Brothers Long had on the Lamanta! Much was learned and appreciated with regard to what you and your mate do on a daily basis to bring the ridiculous amount of fish up that you do on such a consistent basis. As well as getting us settled into Quepos.
Still wondering what the "combination of factors kept us from hook ups" must have been over setting the 12 weight-Not!
You have knot heard the last of the Long Krewe.
We'll be back just when you thought it was safe to go back into the water.

Rock Steady!
A Brother Long
