Fort Fisher & Salt Water license Plan passed....

Not everything that we had hoped for but better than the alternative.

Quote from the Sunday Star News. "Intervening in a dispute between state parks officials and users of the Fort Fisher State Recreation Area in New Hanover County, lawmakers set a policy for 24 hour access. Lawmakers said that those who pay a fee could have 24 hour access from Sept 15 to March 15 each year".

The Saltwater Fishing license also passed the House 66-33.

Senate is expected to approve the plan by early today.

Any word on how the saltwater license is going to be inforced and how much one will be? I'm a NC lifetime sportsman, so I'm guessing that I won't need to buy one...but who knows! My dad is freaking out and wants to know the details.
