If you boat in NC esp. around the Morehead area to Sneads Ferry or a Tournament fisherman that fishes this area, we need your support.
It seems the local commissioners don't mind putting in a Lowes home improvement or Wal-Mart, but a boat ramp would cause a traffic problem.
Personally I think its a tax revenue issue, if the land were developed i.e. condos etc. this would bring in tax dollars, a boat ramp won't.
Lowes Home Improvement and Wal-Mart will cause no traffic problem and the tax income will be great. LOL
Come and join us for this fight, this may be one of many in the near future the way our water access is being gobbled up.
